Since 1975, Princeton Tec® has innovated and developed products for everyone from the professional to the outdoor sports enthusiasts. It all started in Princeton, New Jersey, by Bill Stephens, an engineer by day and an entrepreneur by night running his own dive shop.
When Bill’s day job tried to relocate him to Indianapolis, far away from the Atlantic Ocean where he loved to dive, Bill quit and doubled down manufacturing the industry’s first automatic dive timer. This dive timer was the beginning of Princeton Tec.
Over the years, scuba lights began to take over the product line up. Over time, Princeton Tec expanded its lighting solutions to fit the needs of more than just divers. To this day, Princeton Tec is a family-owned and family-run business that develops and manufactures personal lighting systems for military/law enforcement/first responders, industrial, outdoor enthusiasts, and scuba professionals. Princeton Tec® operates its machine shop and injection molding facilities. Most importantly, they have remained an American manufacturer and local employer since the beginning.
Princeton Tec’s tactical illumination line-up is one of the most versatile and innovative in the industry. The solutions engineered provide the right amount of light exactly where you need it, regardless of the mission.
