The Alpha FX Edge is an IP-enabled, graphics-accelerated 4K <href=” products=”” video-wall-controllers=”” “=””>video wall processor in a compact, 1RU package. Despite its small form factor, the Edge can support up to 4 4K or 16 HD IP encodes and decodes, enabling users to access, display, and share content across the network in real-time. The Edge also provides physical inputs and outputs and native video playback.
Our most compact rack-mounted controller, the Alpha FX Edge is a powerful and cost-effective solution for smaller control rooms, briefing rooms, collaboration environments, and more. Like the larger controllers in the Alpha FX family, the Edge is designed on a Windows 10 PC architecture and leverages CineMassive’s FX Graphics Engine to deliver accelerated graphics, 3D rendering, and massive resolutions. CineNet video wall software provides simple, intuitive control over the controller, content, and video wall.

Multi-4K Capture & Display
Supporting up to 4 4K inputs/outputs and up to 16 IP streams in a single 1RU chassis, the Alpha FX Edge is a compact, cost-effective solution for driving a small video wall system or arrangement of 4K monitors.
Native IP Encoding & Decoding
The Edge is able to encode and decode up to 16 HD or 4 4K IP streams simultaneously. With native encoding and decoding, users can not only access and display real-time video streams from anywhere on the network – they can also share local video wall content with colleagues and display systems around the world.
High-Resolution, Low-Latency Streaming
The Edge performs low-bitrate, low-latency encoding and decoding through H.264 video compression – so IP video appears as seamless and fluid as local content.
Displays Virtually Any Content
The Edge supports virtually any video format – digital, analog, or even IP – and accepts content from nearly any device, including workstations, laptops, tablets, cameras, cable boxes, and more.
Infinite Content Source Duplication
The Edge can duplicate a content source on the video wall an unlimited number of times without any loss of frame-rate. This makes it easy to isolate and zoom into specific regions of the content without losing sight of the big picture.
Controls Multiple Display Systems
The Edge can drive multiple display systems simultaneously, even those built with different display technologies (LCD, LED, projection, etc.) and aspect ratios. Different display systems can be controlled as a single, continuous canvas or managed separately.
