Owned by former U.S. Navy SEALs, T3 is a different kind of company. We abide by a single guiding philosophy: authenticity.
A U.S. Navy SEAL is a product of one of the most grueling military training regimens ever developed. Cold salt water is hard on human beings and on gear. As a result, SEALs have some of the highest standards for tactical and outdoor equipment. By these standards, many of the products marketed today as durables are actually inferior consumables. Plus, the suppliers of this gear are often little more than pretenders. They promote themselves as tactical experts, when, in fact, many served without distinction or even with competence issues. And in some cases, they never served at all.
T3 is headquartered on Naval Amphibious Base Coronado in San Diego, immediately alongside the West Coast SEAL Teams. Coronado is also the site of BUD/S, the fabled Basic Underwater Demolition/ SEAL training program, and a large part of U.S. Marine Corps Amphibious Reconnaissance training. Our secondary location is just south of Camp Pendleton, the West Coast center of mass for the U.S. Marine Corps. No other manufacturer operates in such close proximity to these types of units. This access is invaluable to both developing innovative products and in selecting the best of other manufacturer's products. In both cases, we sell only items that exceed the standards of our customers, those on the edge of modern war fighting.
We retain high-level ties across the U.S. military. And we have deep connections to our many friends still serving around the world at the tip of the spear in military, law enforcement and intelligence gathering roles. We would never jeopardize them ― or the reputation we've worked so hard to build ― by selling anything other than world-class gear, tough enough to withstand the most extreme and destructive saltwater environments.
All of our gear is made in the U.S.A. We do this for two reasons:
Without a doubt, we offer a superior product with similar or better pricing than our key competitors who make their gear overseas.
- The first is to have the closest possible connection between operator input and gear development. The best gear cannot be manufactured with production outsourced to foreign countries. Distances are too long and cultural and language gaps are too great.
- The second reason is our belief in the American system and its backbone: the American worker. There is no better way to support our troops than buying Made in the U.S.A.
While we are aggressive supporters of Veterans-related charities, our primary focus is to give back by training and employing the exemplary men and women who have served our country in uniform. Our proudest corporate accomplishment to date is that 100% of our T3 Gear retail, manufacturing and distribution workforce is a Veteran, spouse, former spouse or child of a Veteran.
